Lachlan Lewis

Apparently dogs are not offering Lewis a new contract next year. If I was eels, I would replace Rankin with Lewis. Lewis is a pretty good defender, so I think he would be a decent replacement for whenever D Brown is unavaliable. His attack is not very threatening, but he is still young. Based on his reserve grade peformances, his kicking game is his main attacking weapon. I personally, think Lewis could become a V Radley type of player. Both players love the collision and strong defenders. Lewis doesn't have the speed and agility of D Brown. Hence why I think he is a potential lock. He could be the no14 and cover hooker as well.

  • Not sure Lachlan Lewis would come to a club to just play reggies at this stage of his career. He will still view himself as a starter somewhere. I think his future is at dummy half personally.

    • Lachlan Lewis is a great tackler. I remember a game couple of years a go we threw everything at him, including Manu Ma'u and he stopped him every time.

Zero halfback skills, so yeah i think dummy half is his best spot.

      • I remeber when he got under the skin of Sam Burgess. He forced errors from him.

  • Rankin is right up there with Gutho in the fitness stakes and I've heard players say how it's great to have that competition in the squad - guys like Rankin can really help the younger players get the best out of themselves by his actions off the field

  • Definitely not, hes a useless kent who has a really high opinion of himself.

    • Lol ... "Kent" ... poor old Paul

  • Not a fan of Lewis. We need a centre

  • Lewis would be a fantastic buy. Sign him up

  • No, No, No

  • Nope from me
