Kyle Schneider

Is it too early for Kyle? He is 19 this year - not sure when his Birthday is. Reed made his debut at 19, although Kyle has lost quite a bit of time through injury. However, if the comp is running after June, could we see a debut from Kyle? Unfortunately he is not getting a match practice at the moment, which would make it difficult. Maybe he could play 14 and get 15 minutes to see how he goes - and give Davies/Smith a rest. Kyle seems to have put a bit of muscle on in the photos I have seen. Anyone know if he is a chance?

Pity for Reed. He was playing really well - defence and attack

  • Not sure if BA would pick a player who hasn't played a game for 3 months (after June 30 when he can play,). Unless the whole comp gets suspended, then he'd be in the same position as the rest of the squad.

Are the development players still training with the main squad?

    • Don't think Kyle is even a development player yet - though maybe he should be

      • Pretty sure he is

  • Throw him in why not? He'd feel like he doesn't have much to lose and that. Although he will be tackling taumalolo lmao

    • Development players can't play until after June 30

  • Schneider is one of 3 development players we have at the club.

Although Mahoney was 20yo when making his debut I think we have nothing to loose giving the young guy an opportunity.

Development players are still training full time with NRL squad 1000%.

    We have other options yes.

    Will Smith

    Ray stone

    Jaemon salmon

    Rhys Davies

In all honesty the young fella is the next best hooker we have at the club so give him a crack I say.

    Any news on Mahoney's injury

    • Development players can't play until after June 30

      • True. Unless you ask for dispensation from the NRL.

We have to be specialist hooker's at the club

        Reed Mahoney

        Kyle Schneider

So if the club want to use him or play him they can only do 2 things.

        1. Ask for dispensation from the NRL

        2. Up grade to top 30 taking our last spot.

Right now I'm unsure who or what the club will do.

Bit I think they will use Davies or stone or both until they realise neither are up to it full time..

        Who knows

        • I hope they go with your idea's. I think this is a a great time to test out Kyle.

  • next weeks team will be

    1: C Gutherson

    2: M Sivo

    3: M Jennings

    4: W Blake

    5: B Ferguson

    6: D Brown

    7: M Moses

    8: Jr Paulo

9: R Davies ( fittest guy at the club )

    10: K Evans

    11: S Lane

    12: R Matterson

    13: P Terepo

    14: R Stone ( play hooker, Lock )

    15: R Campbell Gillard

    16: M Nuikore

    17: D Alvaro

    N Brown will get suspended

R Mahoney I'm hearing out for 8 weeks

I'd go with Davies at hooker very fit, and has a good kicking game as well, R Stone to play some hooker off the bench.

i think BA will use Will Smith at Hooker
