Krisnan Inu is better Than Tahu

Have to take a good look at where TAHU defends in the line and say that he is consistently a weak link when it comes to defence. Sure he set up a try for burt but  burt was probly the only winger who could take that pass. I dont know how he held that because tahus pass was way behind burts back.

I keep hearing TAHU will get better, he doesnt shut the ball down in defence, have a good look at the bronson harrison offload last nite and you' ll see that he could have shut that play down by using his so called strength and bringing the player down to the ground. Mortimer took out bronson down low and tahu had to shut it down up high but he let harrison stand and offload which then created a massive hole for the canberra centre to go through and score under the post.

Our defence is making it too easy for opposition attack to score. Parra had more linebreaks more metres gained and less missed tackles than canberra , so how was the game lost. Simply our bad defensive reads cost us points when we had to shut them down.

Tahu is hurtung the confidence of the players around him namely burt, mortimer, and mateo. Krisnan inu is a young centre with a big future, a parra junior at 22. Tahu at 29 had his time at the club went to rugby and failed because of his bad defence. That was a 15 man defensive line how is he going to make a good defender in a 13 man team.

I also keep hearing give tahu early ball. He has been getting early ball and the play seems to be breaking down 90% the time because he put his winger under pressure and the player gets taken over the sideline. He cost us in early tackles against the tigers, let in three trys against manly and cost us against cronulla and played badly in defence against the raiders last nite again. Unless he scores 2 tries a game and sets up 2 tries a game I dont see the value of having him in the side.

Reddy also had a shocker last nite but he is consistantly good.

Best players last nite were Kris keating, Tim Mannah, Justin horo and mateo all parra juniors. Lets resign our juniors and stop bringing dud recruits to the club otherwise its going to be like 2001 all over again.

Bring back INU to the centres.

Hopefully you read this Paul Ossie Osbourne, and while your at it give yourself a pay rise........

  • Inu should always be selected in the parra squad. He is a long term parra player. Players like Burt and Grothe are near retirement and Inu is the future. Having him miss out games makes no sense and a complete loss of talent.
  • You make a good point about the Bronson Harrison incident, however other than that i thought Tahu had his best game this year for us.

If you must point the finger, I believe a major reason why we lost the game is the ill discipline of Reddy. That is by far the worst game i have seen him play which is unusual because he is a consistent performer.

When your form is down as a team, dumb passes and elbowing oponents while in possession break your back, and unfortunately he let us down on a number of occasions. if you recall the lead up to that try that Canberra scored when the halfback grubbered for himself, Reddy was stood up and left for dead in the centres by that forward that made the break. He was just hopeless unfortunately for us on the night.

In my opinion, Reddy needs to be benched and replaced by Inu in order to set a precendence that park football standard from 1st graders wil not be tolerated.
    • Fair dinkum! You want to bench our most consistent back of the last 2 or 3 seasons for 1 bad game? Yeah, that'll do him the world of good. I don't think anyone would need to tell Joel Reddy that the next time he finds himself in the types of situations he found himself on occasions last night, to take Different options.

Joel should not be going anywhere.
      • The side should be picked on form week in week out, Joel is no exception, it never hurt anyone to be reminded what discipline is all about. Its healthy to have that competition between teamates any way.

Whether he feels bad or not after the game is irrelevant, he obviously didn't feel bad about the first pass he threw because he threw an even worse one given the same opportunity, and to top it off he decides to purposely lash out with an elbow and get reported for it and kill off any chance of winning the game with the freaking ball in his hands! This is a perfect opportunity for the coach to set a precedence, every game we have absolutlely no regard for discipline and give away the ball at will. Our attitude is disgusting relating to discipline and it needs to be stamped out before it's too late. An attitude adjustment is all the side needs, Joel can play for his spot week in week out as well as the rest of em.
      • reddy is way to good , i agree his only bad game in years
  • I haven't seen Inu put on a play like Tahu did from the scrum win for burts first try.
  • inu and tahu both way out of form
  • ......... i dnt understand the 2001 negativity?
  • because if parra dont win the comp every year they are crap and should be sacked....
