No in that Newcastle get closer to us, though good in that Canberra are kept close and F/A is worse, meaning we can win close and still jump them. Starts with Dragons on Sunday, then Roosters is winnable with RCG and Sivo back, then Penrith is anything with us. That last round bye could save us.

Yes and no.

Newcastle and Manly are ahead of us now - we are officially 11th...
Not too bad of a thing, gotta keep Canberra close. Surely next week is a win so that can help.
Is there any clearer sign that a team is not a title threat than when they're relying on other results just to make the 8?
Haha stop it
R C G and Sivo won't be back till the Penrith game
Roosters Round 25 Colin, week before Penrith.
What's the point if we scrape into the 8?
It'll be a straight sets exit with the team we currently have..
Have not beaten anyone in the top 8 other than a lucky win against panthers 17-16 and somehow winning against the rabbitohs.
Since that game against dolphins + bye we have gone downhill..
I would rather finish the year in the 8, sets us up better for 2024.
How the fuck does that set us up?
Straight sets and 1st week exits can have the opposite affect. Key players have well and truly ruined this year. Hope they are happy.
