"I think in a perfect world if everyone was fully fit, Russell wouldn't get any game time. I was expecting that with Lomax coming to the club it would spell the end of him but it hasn't turned out to be the case."
"I have never truly understood the idea of never kicking on the forth when camped in your own red zone. Kick on the 4th and better chance of pushing them back with only the Fullback collecting it."
"I like Penisini but if he can't add passing to his game he needs to go."
"It is hard for our forwards as Moretti i reckon has earned a start over Williams but he adds impact also. Though Samrani has beaten Guymer so that should be a simple switch. Unless Ryles bites the bullet and simplifies Hopgood's role by playing him…"

Don't take any notice, report from hoops.
and we know this how?
After Politis came out and said the Roosters were not interested and we had the story he was meeing with them this week before that. How could you possibly believe anyone. Hooper has made this up seemingly, did he make up the Roosters story too?
What club in their right mind would signal to a reporter that they are willing to offer 1.2m or for that matter, anything if they were genuinely negotiating at this level.
It is about time that the NRL started an investigation of these type of stories. Maybe any player that puts himself out there, receiving a genuine interest should be formally negotiating deals via the NRL. Stop all this shit in one "swoop". No "Dutch" auctions, just a tender basis.
Apparently coming out of Fox sports
And there will be more articles of this nature to come. Good old Hoops.....he often starts with 'My information is......'
Oh yeah, Mr. i think this will happen then goes on to make a story on NRL 360, based on i think this will happen but haven't heard anything. The Moses story was that story and just asinine. Then proceeds to laugh when Caryannis says we are not a badly ran club, yet his boys at Concord gave Luai options in his deal.
Good luck to him if true. Ridiculous to think that he's worth anything like the money reported.
Ryles won't fall for this nonsense and won't be offering a cent more than he's already on.
The old regime did that too with the likes of Mahoney, Niukore, Papali'i etc. So not too much of an old practice for us.
And what did we win when they were all here . Diddly squat
What does that have to do with the point i was making?
the club was never holding onto Niukore unless the Eels were going to relocate to Auckland. Money wasn't the issue there.
