Knights set sights on Dockar-Clay
NEWCASTLE are considering signing promising Panthers utility Zach Dockar-Clay.
A talented halfback or hooker and former Junior Kiwis captain, Dockar-Clay is a rising star who has yet to play NRL football.
The 21-year-old has several players ahead of him in the pecking order at Penrith and would have an easier path to the top grade at the Knights.
Penrith rate Docker-Clay and despite his tender years, he captained the club in the Intrust Super Premiership this season, leading them to a finals berth.
He is under contract for next season but the Panthers are considering releasing him if he can get an opportunity at the Knights.
In the past week Newcastle announced the arrival of premiership winner Rory Kostjaysn and forward utility Jamie Buhrer on multi-year deals.

Should of kept him at Parra
ye would be a good hooker
He had no spot here anyway and when he had the chance to impress, he failed unfortunately. Both as a half in the NYC ranks and a hooker in the NSW Cup ranks.
So we let him go and to be honest, it was no big loss as he hasn't really done anything since he left.
When I saw him play I thought he was talented. But I am not Gus Gould like yourself. So for
Another overrated eels junior talked up by eels fans before he left for Penrith.
One thing i did like about the kid was his footwork, good on his feet at times.
