Knights and Cowboys fighting over Sandon Smith

A bidding war has broken out between the Knights and Cowboys for the services of Sandon Smith. Knights have offered a 4 year deal and Cowboys a 3 year 1.3 million dollar deal. Most of us wanted the club to join in on this (me included) but Ryles has backed Joash and once again seems to be on the money with his assessment. Guess we'll just have to start trusting his judgement on these things 😂

Hell no doubt tackle them to a premiership wherever they put him.  Future of Parramatta right there ladies and gents.  Along with Clinton " the heart and soul of Parramatta " Flufferson.

        • Lets see if Brown behaves himself in newie, its unlikely - that contract could be torn up, would like to know the clauses inserted into this deal.

          • What has he done wrong since his "never to be forgotten" faux pass" ?

            • I thought the same thing Poppa, I wonder if this "poster" thinks the same about JAC.

  • Didn't he sign with the Knight all ready

    • Well the flegg stream was, thankfully, fixed at halftime and we ran out winners 52-32. I mentioned Neemia looked dynamic in the first stanza, on occasions but he reverted to his usual lack of puff in the 2nd half and was blowing bigtime.

Lynn was average today and was off with his kicking as well while Hunter led the team well. Lokeni was mom. No call again so it becomeshard to identify for me but Lucien, Teacum Brown and Dom de Stradis showed out at times.

      • Rokusuka, Dom De Stradis, T Brown, Popo, Coinakis, Lokeni were great today.

Really loving Rokusuka work. Perhaps JAC long term replacement. Plenty of speed, talent and effort in his game. Work to do defensively.

Storm rested lots of players so they were not full strength. We should have couple others returning as well during the finals

        • Yeah EA, Roku does have a crack and plays strong. Since watching the game I found the storm are leading the comp and its the 2nd time we've beat them this year. However you tell me they had players out today.

Might explain how they appeared cocky at the start.

Even though we won handsomely in the end, I'd really like to start our matches stronger and more robust in future, just for a change.

          • Our centres started the game horribly. Palu and Mariner have played many games this year and every time they get exposed so much in defence. Mariner got ruled out of the game for HIA which is why De Stradis moved to centre and why Lucien (18th man) was activated). In JF only one failed HIA activates the 18th man.

Come finals I really hope Lewis and De Stradis are our centres. Uses Petrus and Funa Luta in the backrow

            • In cup at halftime we haven't left the blocks and frustratingly, Twidles doing a ten minute stretch on the sidelines and we've been left behind 24-6.

We never looked like scoring till lussick burrowed over under the posts from dummy half.

we've just gone thru the motions all game one out hit-ups, dropped balls continually and look rudderless.

We don't show any desire or desperation. Its criminal

"Bluey, thanks mate. It's a mild to worrying concern but for additional reasons.
Sometimes, a few individuals on our team don't listen to repeated warnings; like many players on other teams. Reputations exacerbate it. The consequence? Refs or…"
