KK is a talent. Given his last 2 peformances I would not have him as my 6 short term.... long term though he is worthy IMO.
The problem we have is not KK at 6, or Morts at 7, or Robson at 9 or MK at 14. Its the fact that all 4 are in the same team at once.
We just don't have enough creativity and points in those positions. Humble at 6 is worth a try, Mateo a better option IMO. Neither I think will give us teh right balance though....what do we do long term. We don't have a true 7 or 9. I think both Morts and KK will make very good 6's or perhaps 9's with the right players in the 7 and 14 jersey.
It's okay to say get rid of KK, but that just leaves as with another 6. We really need a genuine halfback... last time I checked not many on the market.
Hayne to 6 is another option I can't agree with. You want Hayne running not passing. Granted he has set up lots of tries this year with his passing.... but it's not his go... its a bonus.... Get the guy running for better results. Forget this 6 mentallity for the next few years
KK imo is a very good modern 5/8, if you paired him with JT or Cooper Cronk or Scott Prince, he would look awesome.
In our situation he shares a joint playmaker role with Mortimer, who i still dont believe is a halfback yet either
I agree our halves have some problems, but KK is playing much better than Mortimer at this point in the season.
