KK Injured

Well it looks like the football god's have taken the Robson vs KK debate away from us, with news filtering out from Wenty's game yesterday that Keating has injured his ankle. However it appears not to be a serious injury, with an early prognosis looking as if he will miss between 2-3 weeks of footy.

  • he was never going to play anyway
  • Kris Keating seems injury prone. Players like that are more a liability. Anyways robson outshined him ths year and KK had no chance of making the side unless an injury came up in the halves. Next year for KK.
  • For the best. An offseason behind him training alongside Morts and Hayne will be great.
  • how did u find this out??
    • I have a mate who has been at the Wenty club for years he was at the game and told me that KK had come off injured.

I got the prognosis from some of the other forums.
  • Shattered!
  • Has this, or the extent of the injury been confirmed yet? Poor little KK!

After the disruption of Finchy leaving, the saga of the elections and so forth, this little guy was thrust into the limelight, having to organise and run the team in a time of turmoil. Timing was unlucky and the injury was even moreso, considering his form in the lead up to being injured.

To hear this is even more devastating. Poor little Keating. I hope he has a speedy recovery!!
    • Oh I understand. Pardon me for thinking that rugby league was a team sport, where losses were the responsibility of the team and coaching staff as a whole and success is seen as a credit to the team and the the coaching staff as well.

How can you not see, that when KK was playing halfback the situation was DRAMATICALLY different to the one we face now! Jarryd Hayne was NOT in blistering form, there was no Morts, so it was KK and Robson running the show, there was the saga regarding the elections and possible removal of Denis and disruption following the loss of Finchy. Not to mention the lack of confidence our team faced as a result of a poor start to the season.

But let's disregard all that. It was all Keating's fault. Now that he is injured, we should win the Premiereship right?
      • I see someone has some common sense.

Why is it that Mary is the only one on this forum who thinks before she makes a post?
  • agree with noknob, kingston 2 cum in 4 mk in off season .burt 2 14 2 accomodate tahu.and kk 2 halfback 4 the first 6 weeks and if he dont cut it our next expense needs 2 be a halfs partner 4 morts.wot a side we ganna hav.hayne,inu,tahu,reddy,grothe.morts,kk,mateo,shack,hindy,poore,kinga,moi moi.bench burt, smith, caylo, manah.parra 2 beat the panthers n dragons to set up a mouthwatering 1st semi against one of the competition heavy weights.

"I do not think they pick Tago. i reckon it is Samrani on that wing, purely based on Ryles picking him there before and playing decent there. Or if he is fit Dunster gets a crack."

"Not next week EA, a few weeks down the track, cant do it this week with Lomax out. But i feel Samrani will do ok, not great but do a job.
Turbo will be picked for NSW, too much noise around it. Him, Jake, DCE and Olakau'atu. "
