Kiwis must pay full freight for Inu

Are we seriously considering offloading Inu before the start of the season!!! This sounds a bit too crazy to me. 1eyed any inside info?THE New Zealand Warriors will have to pay full price if they want Kiwi international Krisnan Inu this season.Parramatta officials are reluctant to release Inu, but will consider doing so if the Warriors agree to take on his entire $275,000 contract.Although Inu is tipped to be the odd man out in Parramatta's slick backline when Timana Tahu's two-match suspension clears, a player of his calibre will come in handy when Jarryd Hayne goes off on Origin duty.

  • Meh if he goes he goes we have goot wingers/centers like jonathan wright for backup
  • Sell Inu and buy Willy Mason - that is the aim of this whole exercise - you heard it here first.
    • haha hell no not a option.
    • I think one of the driving factors to Morts signing with us as a kid was that his dad didn't want him at a club with the likes of Mason as senior player. I heard that somewhere can't quite remember where..
  • Why would we want to buy Willie Mason. First of all, we have plenty of depth in the forwards and secondly the guy's a bum who should forget about ever playing in the NRL again. IMO easilty the most over-rated player in the NRL ATM.
    • until gallens names mentioned or anasta or josh perry or peter wallace or robbie farrah
    • Couldn't have said it better myself, nothing but a powder puff, and he's bad influence on all around him, and lets not forget........ he's complete dick head.
  • I'm really not sure what to make of this story.
The Warriors have been very up front about wanting Inu this year. For the Eels to say they'll have to pay full price could just be them sprouting throw away lines, or it could be them saying 'show me the money'.
I think Inu has a very bright future in the NRL and beside Tahu we will see the best of him.
Is he just another winger? Maybe, maybe not.

To comment on the other replies to this discussion.... I definitely wouldn't be disappointed if Willie Mason came to the club. Love him or hate him, he is a talented football player when his mind is on his game. Our forward pack would be phenomenal with him in the team.
  • When Inu burst into 1st grade (I think he played fullback for NZ after 1 1st grade game), he had Tahu as his mentor in 1st grade. They formed a great combo on the wing/centre. - Why would we say sorry, Krisnan - we don't need you. Personally, I was really looking forward to them teaming up again. - He was clearly injured early last year, which restricted his running, but come semi-final time he seemed to come good. The guy is young & talented - If we had to let anyone go, as much as I luv 'em it would be Grothe or Burt.
    • And as for Willie? - Please, someone tell me this is a joke. I wouldn't have that disruptive dickhead anywhere near our club - even if he was in career best form
