KIERAN Foran’s $4.8 million hamstrings won’t face a tougher first-up test than trying to stop the world’s greatest halfback _ Johnathan Thurston _ this weekend.
Parramatta fans will welcome this sight of Foran stretching out his suspect hamstrings before training on Monday.
Corey Norman also trained in the morning heat, and will definitely play against the premiers after being cleared of a serious neck injury.
Forced out of last Thursday’s season opener against Brisbane because of tightness in his hamstrings, Foran is tipped to finally make his debut for the Eels at Pirtek Stadium on Saturday night.
And not only will he be forced to do battle with a suspect pair of hamstrings against Thurston, he’ll also do so with limited pre-season game time.
Before Parramatta fans start thinking of Foran as their saviour, they should keep in mind he’s only played around 50 minutes during the Penrith trial.
