I know people were really excited to watch him play last night the one thing i really noticed was his defence, he was OUTSTANDING in defence last night tackling Gavin Cooper all night.

He played well, but I'm very concerned with his hammy. He didn't kick at all in general play, other than a few little grubbers. He had the entire off season to work on it and it didn't get better, hard to see him playing week in week out
his defence was spot on. In attack he did seem hesitant to take on the line and I noticed him playing sideways a lot, rather than that direct game he was known for at manly. There were a few times where he took scott/mau's line and had to through a quick pass to avoid obstruction. This will come with confidence though, every game and training session he gets through without a tweak will see him improve until he is back to his manly form. The same goes with kicking involvement.
"Gus is great. Respect. But facts before bias. The spine matters. He's still sorting his spine after 5yrs or so. Ours is more settled after a year or so without sugar daddies & Gus' 50yrs of networks.
"Not in this case the stepping stone is perfect for them not us why would we be paying market value for that.Demand doesn't fall into this conversation because we've basically given them what they want.
We've just lost an international calibre half…"
