Kent spoke to BA

Kent said on NRL 360 that he apparently spoke to BA, and he said to Kent that they are playing individually in attack going for the big plays instead of as a team and moving together when they are losing. So in round 5 and 11 losing to Manly and Dragons in games where we were behind at half-time and began doing stupid stuff in the second half to catch up was bad enough, but only noticing it now as an issue? granted it is not a week in week out issue but it is something we have been prone to do for a while. Therefore wondering why it is mentioned now and why it has not been fixed if that is the case. I do however agree with Arthur, just feel frustrated that 's what he suggested as a main problem when it has been on for a while when things don't go our way. I could be wrong

Or could just be that Kent didn't speak to him at? i think he did but never know hahaha.

  • I think some blame has to be put on gutho and Moses. They are experienced enough to know they need to be patient and not frantic. While I think BA has to go, he cannot be blamed for every problem.

    • Yes of course, but he constantly says patience and play through the middle, are the team not listening or are not focused? If BA wants to play through the middle we play through the middle until told otherwise, we've said it here it seems they go off script with their play at times. The players shouldn't do it but BA shouldn't allow it, not saying he does but it happens to many times.

    • Lol patient if we were any more patient in some of our games we'd get fined for going to slow. Bottom line is Parra need 5-6 sets of pressure on opposition lines to even look like scoring. Good teams only need 1-2 max. We've become that club that cause we focus so much on being patient & building pressure that we've actually forgotten what to do with the ball once we've built that pressure & been patient. It's not the first year this has happened. It's actually becoming sooo frustrating to watch to know what's coming. Sterlo was spot on.

      • I agree. We have forgotten how to score by simply breaking defences down rather than being patient and fatiguing them. That has to do with our slow, predictable and poor attack plan. The only thing I will say, is that finals footy is built on patience. More possesion and pressure you apply will help a lot. Good team can defend for 2-3 sets.

    • Moses didn't play. He hasn't played since the Panthers game.

    • As a 19 year old and having no experience it is difficult for me to hear you criticise senior players for not being experienced enough EA.

Blind Freddie will tell you when you have inept performers in your team and you have an individual brilliance, you will physcosomatically try to fix the problem yourself, because nothing else is working. The two players that you refer to are probably the two most would expect to step up. When they do and fail, it is then their fault.....sorry BA, you created the monster and if you can't figure out the "elephant" in the room, you are not deserving the role you have been chosen for.

      • are you kidding Poppa EA is a baby . I thought he was some old nerd with glasses that had been around when Ron Lynch was tearing teams apart.

EA you need to change your avatar so people know you have no experience.

    • yep of course blame Moses, it has been all his fault our attack has been atrocious, let's not worry about the fact he hasn't been playing. arggggggggggsome people.

  • Our kicking game was very poor, which comes down to loss of our top kicker, but also lack of teamwork in getting to good kicking positions and chasing well. This was only the second time this year we've conceded more 7 tackle sets than forced restarts. The first time was against the Dragons.

    • Happens when JA has reins of the team
