Kenny Re-signs

E els re-sign Kenny Edwards until 2019

The Parramatta Eels are today pleased to announce the re-signing of back rower Kenny Edwards for a further three seasons until the end of 2019.

Edwards debuted for the Eels in 2013 and has played over 40 games in the top grade for the Blue and Gold.

“After returning from an ACL injury, Kenny has been one of our most consistent performers in 2016 and I am pleased he has committed to the club for the long term,” Head Coach Brad Arthur said.

“It’s a great outcome that more and more of our players are committing long term to the Club and I am sure our supporters will see the benefits of this in 2017 and beyond."

“I am happy that we have been able to get this done. I am thankful that the Club has stuck by me and given me another three years,” Kenny Edwards said.

“I had no hesitation in re-signing – I love the place and I want to stick around here.”

Edwards re-signing comes after yesterday’s re-signing of Danny Wicks and the securing of Brad Arthur and Corey Norman for a further three seasons each until the end of the 2019 season.

  • Hopefully a few more years of seeing Kenny's leg cramps late in winning games....

    • and some more kenny cuddles won every game he gave them in
  • BOOOM WOW 3 YEARS.

Academy award winning cramps and cuddles as a bonus ! :)
  • Looks like drip feed announcements.

Perhaps we will see re-signings announced first, then new ones after the last round, along with the last round that both ISP & NYC games we are involved in.

  • It's looking like we can bank on the majority of this team being around for the next three years!

    • How good is that.

  • Included in the deal was that Kenny has to at least 5 Kenny cuddles per season & 5 cramp attacks a season
