Kenny Edwards has been charged with contrary conduct by the match review committee - using the shoulder on Brisbane Broncos winger Jonas Pearson.2GB's Ray Hadley earlier called for a 5 week ban on Edwards and has called the decision by the NRL the ultimate disgrace, and said they should hang their heads in shame.Kenny was charged with contrary conduct grade 1 and is free to play.Charge - Kenny will pay $1500 dollars to the NRL.Early guilty plea would drop the fine to $1000.

Hadley is a gigantic goose! What about Blairs shoulder charge on Mitch Moses and nothing said or done.

He was laying for the penalty because brown missed him,may aswell give him something to stay down for, what about Adam Blair flying across late to hit Jennings that was worse then Edwards effort

If Kenny and the club fight this they will win no question. He has only been charged because some self righteous wankers with a lot of media exposure have made such a big deal out of nothing. Even Daryll Brohman said that he and his commentary team my have overreacted last night.

Honestly... Does Hadley really have any credibility left??? There comes a time either through age or feeble mindedness that one ceases to be able to offer comment on social issues. Laws got to that point and wisely pulled the pin, perhaps it's time for Hadley to do the same thing? At one time he offered credible comment on social issues but since his divorce, he has really gone downhill rapidly.
