Really unfortunate that this happened to Kenny. I hope everything comes good for him :)
Good luck to him, round 10 seems quick, but ya never know.
Peats took 9 months and Lachlan Coote took 12 months to recovery from their ACL operations. For Edwards to return after 4 to 5 months seems ridiculous. Although, I vaguely remember there is an option for using a synthetic ligament for this type of operation that can be used to halve the recovery time, but this method is only used for older players at the end of their career, because the life span of the synthetic ligament is somewhat short. We won't need Kenny if Ma'u and Moeroa stay injury free but it would be great if he had a short recovery.
We've got someone saying Kenny said he'd be back Round 20. Someone else saying he said he'd be back Round 15. And now someone saying he said he'd be back Round 10.

90% of ACL recons use a Hamstring graph so his surgery was neither different nor special. It'll still be a minimum of 6 months before he can run and have lateral movement.
And a sonograph is basically an ultrasound - it's not a type of surgery
