I know this bloke has had some on field and off field issues, but gee he is some kind of player. We really missed him last year and you could see how much better we were with him in the 9's and tonight has only solidified that. I don't know what his contract status is but Parramatta need to start planning to sign him up long term. I wouldn't be offering him a crazy amount, due to his off field issues but at the very least a good competitive offer has to be tabled to him because other teams will be watching him very closely and ready to swoop. Loosing Junior Paulo has stung a little but if we were to loose Edwards, that would really cripple our team in both attack and defence.
Between Kenny and Manu i think we would have to have the most dangerous and straight SCARY back row in the game. I would go as far as to say possibly the best. a big call i know but both of them are equally as good at attack as they are defense.
I thought Kenny was one of our best last night and really added something to our side that has been missing since he was injured last season.
Well done Kenny, you are fast becoming one of my favorite players.

Agree, we'd better move quickly with these.
These 2 along with Scott and Paulo are the stand-outs in the forwards and hopefully aren't off contract at seasons end. Wicks was very solid also and Terepo was good but still has the butter hands. If he'd held onto the ball during that line break it coulda been a try.
I think Peni is becoming one of our better forwards. The ball that came out was knocked out and he was a little bit unlucky, other than that Peni was good. Our forward pack is the best i have ever seen it and Kaysa Pritchard was great when he came on. If we can keep our forwards injury free and get them all signed up we will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. If Wattmough doesn't come back. then i hope the money saved can be used to be put forward to retaining Junior ($650k offer, $100k less than the Raiders offer and if its not enough then so be it) and locking up Manu, Edwards, Moeroa and Peni if he can stay consistent with his runs and holding onto the ball.
Kenny and Manu are definiteness though, 3yr contracts with 1yr added in the clubs favor.
Junior goooonski Matt, you and others need to accept that and stop talking about retaining him.
Pretty sure we have until June to make another offer and retain him.
If we can't then so be it but we would be silly not to do all we could to try.
