Ken Edwards the forgotten man

People are saying don't change a winning formula but if tinkering a bit will only strengthen the side then hey who's not all for that?Edwards has been solid for us this year and will fulfill his potential with a couple more outings. He plays a similar role to Joe Paulo but definetely has a better select of play in crucial parts of the field and has way more mongrel in defence than him.Definetely would have Edwards in his place for next game.Would also have Mossop in for Allgood. The other forgotten man is Tanginoa and would have in place of Terepo.Kelepi can 80 mins with a high work rate and can hit a gap and cause havoc on the right edge.He is an all round player if you ask me and lets not forget that he was rated the best junior to come through since Hindmarsh.Terepo has some great carries but does not has not got the quantities of Tanginoa. Not likely to happen but would also have Morgan instead of Tonga. We stuck with Morgan when he raw and still learning and now that he has evolved into a mature player with pace, footwork and good defensive reads and we replace him a player who sure has a bigger name but is definetely over the hill that looks sluggish and couldn't bust a grape to score a try.

  • I think Edwards should be made to come back through wenty like everybody else! But I don't think he should be traded out for paulo sure he's been useless in the past but under BA. He has turned in too a genuine attacking weapon. Peni struggled a bit when playing as a starting front rower but playing at lock and running a bit wider and letting players like junior bend the line first I think that's why he's been playing a bit better. I agree with mossop for allgood and have high hopes for taginoa but I don't think it's helping that he's playing front row in Holden cup he's future in the nrl is defenitley a second rower
    • Peni has bad hands & needs to improve this. Send him back to Wenty  to fix before promoting him to fg again.

  • Make him hooker.
    • Mossop in for Allgood...Edwards in for Terepo...I'd like to see the English import get a run & if Kenny is fit then he's better then Peni, plus if there's any further in juries Fui can always come straight back into the team

  • It's Wentwortville Magpies for Keny.
He will have to force he's way back in, as there will be no changes.

The only possible change is Hayne might be rested, with Hunt ot Sio to fullback, and Toutai to take Sio's place.
    • I thought the better idea would be to put Hoppa at FB and bring Morgan into his centre spot.

Either way could work I guess, but considering BA has had Morgan on an extended bench for Cowboys game I think he will get the nod.

  • Rooh shekh Wu nam
  • Edwards to come in and Gower back to the bench, Allgood drops off.

  • I agree Ron.

  • I mean seriously.....the team is winning and suddenly you want to make about 3-4 forced changes?! I like Edwards, but at this point the forwards are working well and he will most likely come back through Wenty, and should have to. Mossop needs to get some match fitness and adjust to Aussie RL with Wenty and find some form. James Graham originally had to bide his time with the Bulldogs if you remember. People keep minimising the value of Mitch Allgood. The guy is probably our best defensive frontrower and is a workhorse in all departments. He has great value in this squad and offers a point of difference to the likes of Terepo and Jnr Paulo. Whilst on Terepo, no, Tnaginoa should not just be drafted back in at his expense right now. Just NO.

Finally, I like Ryan Morgan too, but to suggest he should just waltz back into the side at the expense of Willie Tonga is just ridiculous. Its fantasy. Maybe if Tonga gets injured, but right now Willie is in great, great form and adds vital experience to a very young three-quarter line. Tonga is going great.

No offence, but like Ron said, don't do drugs and blog....!
