Kelly gets the nod

Kelly has been named as the no9 against the cowgirls. Jnr in the front row, Mossop on the bench. Willie is back in the centres.

  • Will be very interesting to see how he goes at 9. Hopefully he excels. Also keen to see mossop having a run. Counting down the days to the match.
  • Kelly is definitely no halfback, but hooker might suit him. If he fails at that then the next position is out the door. I think he will go ok.
  • I'm wondering if they actually play Kelly whether ba might entertain playing Sandow or Norman at dummy half. I think Sandow would excel out of dummy half and could also defend in the middle where he will get a lot more defensive help and won't be targeted as much in a 1 on 1 situation. Kelly can definitely defend better than Sandow on the edges. I still think that Kelly may not play at all but we will see what happens
  • Not a bad side considering.

I'm not a fan of Kelly but for the sake of the team, fans and fellow keyboard warriors, I hope he plays well.

Glad Tonga is back. Maybe Semi might get back on the board.

    Mossop should prove interesting.

  • I think that is close to our best side apart from Kelly (and maybe Terepo) Glad to see Mannah and Junior get a chance to show what they can do against one of the best prop duos in the world. Stll don't know what they do  if Kelly is found wanting. Not convinced Kelly will be our 9.

  • The beginning of a new, albeit....mini era.

    Go Mossop and go Kelly!

May you at least not let us be easybeats.

  • I just can't see kelly putting in the rough defence needed at hooker. I thought Paulo would've been the way to go.
    • Paulo can't pass from the ground.

  • that's why he threw a few forward passes in the Ruff game. The time it takes him to stand up then pass has the runner past him. I'm sure the coaching staff have pointed this out.

  • Paulo can't pass at all!!
