Very interesting selection in the NYC side this week with Kelepi Tanginoa selected in the centres.
I've always been worried with Kelepi if at about 180 cm and 100kg he might struggle to have the same kind of impact at NRL level as he's smaller than most of today's NRL centres.
However, out in the centres he might get more opportunities to hit players one-on-one that would make his strength more of an asset. Does he have the pace and footwork to play centre, though?

He'll still be growing a bit more in the next 2 years but I doubt he'll be any taller than 185. Still see him as a one of our best future prospects as a 2nd rower off the bench to add some extra mongrel and enthusiasm to our team when he gets on.
not seeing muck toyota cup, is kelepi the world 7s fiji ra ra flyer.
Nope, Kelepi is a strong, hole running second rower who has a HUGE future in front of him at the Eels. You're thinking of Semi Radradra
I've got a mate who goes to school with Kelepi. He said he's massive. For a guy his age he's got plenty of time to grow into his body and I think either lock or second-row will suit him if he puts on a little more size.
how come frazer is not playing
I think he has a shoulder injury mate.
I've been watching this boy play for so many years, as I am his age and my best friend always versed him. And he was the best player of his age group going around. I hope he comes good in the NYC, and steps into the NRL. We need some good centres. He is a tough bloke in defence too!
