Keating VS Robson discussion

When we were faced with the constant debate whether keating or kingston is the better hooker ( for the record its kingston ) TKBK put up a blog and i enjoyed reading peoples opinions, now we are faced with a different yet similar dilemma.KK- Strengths: potential match winner, speed, can cut the line, better kicking game, more entertainingweaknesses: not a great organiser, defense(compared to robbo), inexperienceRobson- strengths:better organiser, more experienced, getting RESULTS with him, defenseweaknesses:no kicking or passing game, no speedim happy with the way robson is playing and dont mind him getting the nod for the next few weeks, but surely we cant deny KK he's chance for to much longer, he was just about our best player before he got injured, so im gonna go with keating.thoughts..........................

  • Robsons been good but KK was on fire prior to injury get him back.
  • i agree dan, im happy with robson but i think that kk will definatly be playing against the dragons if our win streak goes that far whereas if u lose prior to the dragons then kk will come in in the following game. mateo in next week for Smokin Joey
  • Totally agree with you but I'm scared about Keating's defence because it might lose us the game... but then again his attack could win us games.
  • You'd almost have to put KK on the bench at the expense of Kingston for one game. Give KK the 2nd 40min at halfback, if he does the job (particularly in defence), drop Robson and bring Kingston back onto the bench for the tigers.
    • yeah, but kingston just offers so much.
if we're gonna bring back keating, it'll have to be next week
    • Absolutely no way we should drop Kingston... he has been critical to our success lately
      • yep. agreed
  • kk i think will be a better partner with mortimor
  • Maybe 1Eyed can put a poll up?
    • Nice idea Finchy, will do!

Hell On Eels replied to Blue Eel's discussion Saying It for Years. How will we ever really compete?
"Fakemidget, fair points. I'd still disagree.
One, we are a small fish, mini-mini-minitiare, compared to the football world. There isn't anywhere near the same money in our more localised game here.
Two, elite clubs are already able to get an inflow…"

"We are leading the league at something, I'd prefer we weren't. This isn't good at all moving forward. There are clubs lower down the ladder than us that won't touch them (and with good reason)."
