Keating outside chance of playing this week

Kris Keating's knee injury is nowhere near as bad as what has been reported and the young half is an outside chance of playing this week against Manly.

The more likely scenario is probably that he returns for the Sharks match the following week.

According to Eel's insiders, scans have shown Keating has suffered a low-grade strain on either side of the injured knee and he'll undergo extensive physiotherapy this week in a bid to be right for the weekend.

  • Fair enough .. We can get some revenge on those poor sharkies.
    • No, but given its a short-term injury, Anderson will go for minimal disruption. As I said previously, I think its almost certain that Robson will shift back into the halves and likely that Anthony Mitchell will come into 14
  • I havent seen Mitchell play but everyone seems to have huge wraps on him so it will be good if they choose him to see how he handles the bump and grind of the NRL
    • I recently upload a NSW game just watch it.
  • I personally doubt DA will move Robson from the 9.... he has been very good there. I would lean towards Mateo to 6... especially with him showing some form of late.
