Keating out for season

EXCLUSIVE | The ongoing debate as to whether Kris Keating should return to Parramatta's NRL side and at who's expense is officially over, with the talented young half out for the season. Scans today have revealed that Keating has torn his ankle ligaments from the bone and he will now be operated on immediately. The good news is he is expected to be off his feet for 12 weeks, which at least should have him back in time for the start of the side's 2010 pre-season training.

  • poor bugger. cant catch a break can he
  • Terrible news for Kris but at least he can focus on 2010 now and the side can go forward knowing there will be no changes to the halves.

I think this might be good for Jeff Robson too. I thought he was trying a little too hard last week, rather than just focusing on his supporting game - may have been feeling the pressure from Kris and trying to prove himself a little bit too much.
  • Well if hes having surgery asap, then atleast he should have enough time to get himself back to %100 by the start of 2010.

Hope everything goes to plan, because he will be one of our key players next season.
