Kearney rejects eels

I've been hearing that kearney is gonna reject the eels and stay with melbourne there is even a thread about it over  on league unlimted.

i hope this isn't true if so i fear with our current board and being unable to recruit anyone decent or a rookie coach that our club could fold in 3 yrs

  • interesting if true, tbh i'd prefer Nathan Brown
  • i doubt this is true, why reject a first grade job to keep a lower grade job?
  • I hope this isn't true, we will end up with ricky stuart
  • FOLD!! WTF are u kidding or????
  • ??
  • Would it be legal to re-introduce public stonings (rocks, not drugs) for willful deception?

It would certainly act as a deterrent for idiots (assuming they were smart enough to see it as a deterrent).
  • Hot Shot is full of crap, more like Hot Shit.

ppfffft, Kearney would not reject a start to his first grade coaching career, and Cronulla and the Knights will fold well before the Mighty Eels!
  • This is ridiculous....Even if Kearney or Stuart, for that matter, don't come to Parramatta, they will not fold.I think you may have a case of the hysterics, Hot Shot.

Think about all the bullshit and turmoil that Cronulla has gone through for years and we are still standing. Did you really think Parramatta would never go through a rough patch? All teams go through some drama.Have faith in your team to get through it and be stronger for it.
  • The Eels club isn't about to go anywhere.

The NRL is all about opportunities as well, so why on earth would Kearney reject the chance to become a head coach of a club in the NRL, to remain an assistant coach in a side that will have a ton of youngsters in it, due to their cap breach in 2010.

I expect Kearney to come to the club, and it'll be good news when he does.
  • considering the fact that Kearney has ALREADY LEFT THE STORM... i think this is just a gee up LOL... anyway Sticky will be at parra if worse comes to worse

"Randy,  An interesting one.
I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.
I'd choose you for x-factor even if you only had 5 minutes of form."
