I arrived about 20 minutes into the NYC game and one of our boys was getting taken off in the medicab. I'm pretty sure it was Kaysa because he scored the first try and I didn't see him playing the rest of the match?
Anyone know what happened or how he is?
In about the half hour that he went off, the Tiges put on close to 40 unanswered points, before we had a decent last 20 mins and got a few tries back.
Some quick thoughts from the game. John Folau is definitely a very promising prospect. I was happy with Zac Clay's game - did a lot of organising and score one try and apparently got an assist on one of the early one's too. He still just has that knock of being able to create or score points. Mitchell Brassington does nice things, but really needs to eat. Pauli Pauli was well-involved which pleased me. I guess the game reaffirmed to me that those four boys are the one who stand-out as being NRL prospects.

It's just a shame that it seems Frazer is not with the club anymore because the Under 20's could have used his aggression this season and he was one of the best prospects in the front-row, at least next year we'll have Tepai Moeroa in the line-up and more than likely Tyrell aswell.
Could we have Mitch Brassington move into the hooking position? He's got a nice passing game, very long kicking game and his running game is very good from his time spent at fullback. He's also been the dominant half for most of this year, so he's led the team around.
My first thought Ham was Mitch Brassington is too tall to play hooker. Oh my god. I've become Robert Lloyd. :-) Actually, I think this is one example of a position where height is definitely a disadvantage. But in all honestly, unless he seriously fills out, he's too slight to play any position at the highest level
Tbh, I'd be inclined to just move ZDC to hooker. His time spent there and off the bench in previous games has been quite good.
He's certainly better there than the likes of Vescio (who would probably be on the bench) and Gorman, who isn't a hooker, IMO.
Brasington, for all his ability, probably doesn't have the defensive niche to play hooker and as Phil touches on, his height will hinder him in the role.
it sucks to see frazer go! would of had a GUN! young forward pack! with the like of kelepi, frazer, junior, tepai, tyrell, kamikamica, FJ mauala, sean jackson
He will be out for 10 to 12 weeks.
Cheers Slippery. Although I guess good news that he won't miss much, if any of pre-season training.
Folau has definitely gone from strength to strength. His work on and off the ball and with the ball in hand have been tremendous.
Easily our most consistent back in NYC all year.
He's had very few poor games.
Pauli was, well, Pauli.
Just an absolute beast. He'll only get better as well.
