Just realized the Bulldogs V Melbourne game was on tonight. Would have been good to listen on the radio, but oh well. Apparently it was a pretty dominant game from the Dogs, winning 20 - 4. Melbourne scored their single try in the 79th minute.
I was just looking over the scoring highlights and saw a term which I am unfamiliar with... a rainbow ball. Is it like, an arching ball that goes up and comes down? Wouldn't that be more like a floater?
As Pauline Hanson once said... "Please explain"

You are correct Gower.
A 'rainbow' ball is some dumbass name given to a floater by a dumbass Fox commentator is all.
I must say....it was a truly colourful pass from a big man.
Dwogs looking very good albeit against a storm team lacking 2 of the big 3.
Seems like a pretty desperate way of making the descriptions more colorful haha.....
I think Storm will struggle for the rest of the year, missing Slater for the season and Cronk for a while. I'm hoping they'll get forced out of the 8. I'm still hopeful of the Eels sneaking in, perhaps at the expense of Melbourne.
Watched the match highlights and the Fox caller describes it as a 'rainbow ball'
