See i do not think we should be deciding on a punishment based on injury. Regardless of injury or not, punishment should be handed out accordingly. Like getting into a car accident, if you are at fault let's say you get $1000 fine, if you hurt them you get $2000? not right.
Not only did he lift him but he then turned him in to a dangerous position and drove him head first into the ground with all of his weight on top of him.
Absolutely a correct send off call. It's a terrible tackle you don't want to see in the game. Anyone who thinks it isn't a send off is dead-set cooked.
I got the same feeling when I saw Topou's coathanger last week.

Agree with you Rupe, Lawnton had the time to pull out of that "lift" and so as far as I am concerned "intent" was established....dumb arse response he would have been better "fussing" around Murray and showing concern, instead he feels hard done by....4/6 weeks for mine. Topou's was not the same but the replay shows he did not have to go there the way he did....10 minutes for sure but then a guilty verdict 2/3 weeks.
At most 10 in the bin. Send off needs to be reserved for the worst deliberate illegal tackle, ones that cause injury or those cheap dog shots like that Newcastle bloke did a few weeks back. The tackle looked spectacular, it just initially looked worse than it was, as soon as people see legs past the horizontal they reel back in their couch. There were no hands between the legs, no driving action.

I think Wrong, yes murray was put in a dangerous position but no injury occurred. 10 in the bin and let the mrc review it.

Send off was right in my opinion.
Agree Mack, very dangerous, right call made.
Also, suckshit manly!
Definitely the right decision.

100% send off offence.

Wrong, wrong, wrong 😑
Momentum, not deliberate intent, no injury. An over compensation for the bunker blunder last week with the rorters.
