We have to give Kane a fair bit of slack now because that is 4 games in a row where he has kept improving and be that important part of our powerful bench rotation with Salmon, Gower, Terepo & Moeroa.

Our bench turned the game tonight and Kane, Gower & Moeroa created the space and opportunity for Moses to score that critical try.

Kanes attacking meters post contact will be very impressive tonight and some of his defensive hits were extremely brutal and very loud.

We are now getting that $400k value out of him.

  • Completely agree. I thought Evans was our best. Shame he tried that pass when he made that break. A blight on an otherwise great game.

  • I have said for years Gower has not been treated as he should be.  Great player and showed it yet again.  Kane Evans has deserved every bit of the criticism he has copped.  Great to see him finally stepping up.  Keep it up Kane!

  • Im glad his performing in his last year of his contract. Funny that. Dud bud,

Invest in juniors. Forget this year and next.

    • He has another year left.

      • Lol I thought so as well.

Maybe he has been given a tap. Lift or look elsewhere.

    • He is on a 3 year contract and he's in the middle of it right now. He's on our books for 2020 too bro.

    • Well, your comment just seems stupid now.

How much do you think the game makes from State of Origin? Ticket sales alone would be huge. Let's say over the 3 games 160,000 tickets are sold for an average price of $150 each. This equals $24,000,000 plus broadcasting revenue and sponsorship…"
