From everything I've heard the kid is going to be the next superstar. But as far as debuts go, I really don't think he's was anything special. He made 1 line break and 176m which is pretty good, but that included 1 or 2 long runs where I think he bombed a try by going the wrong way. I think he would just about be the only debutant not to score a try, how many times have you seen throughout the year the person on debut scores a try. Yet this guy is getting all these articles written about him I don't get it.

Pffft... U gotta be joking... You're judging an 18 year old on his debut game IN A FKN FINALS GAME? That big break he made and that step! Only RTS could match that.
Didn't take in to account that it was a finals game - I never once bagged the bloke, just complaining about the fact other kids that have better debuts didnt get the hype he's getting

Ponga will be a superstar, he's a very good player and will be elite one day, he reeks of quality, one of those players that you can see that within 5 minutes of watching him play, you will change your opinion in good time i recon Kase.
