Can't see the knights letting him go, but you never know
Parra priorities are different, we need a winger, hooker and middle forward

We need an edge before a middle. We have plenty of middles (Lane, Matto, Ofa, Paulo, Moretti, even Guymer and Hopgood and that's before Greig/Mataele/Tuivati/Parker/Pryke).
Kai would be great but yeah can't see Newy releasing him.
not many options available, Dylan Lucas would be a great addition can cover centre and second row - I think a big reason for the bulldogs going well this season is versatilely, plus a soft draw

Briton Nikora becomes a free agent Nov 1, Jackson Ford as well

The 3 positions you have listed as the areas the Eels need to target are going to be interesting. Depending on what style of football Ryles is wanting to play. Wingers can either be strong runners gaining plenty of metres helping the forwards, or super fast with great finishing skills. Hookers are either silky ball players or solid workers with fast ball delivery. Middle forwards are either really big with high impact for limited minutes or smaller bodies with high work rates playing longer minutes.
I'm hoping Ryles is given the time and he remains patient regarding the reshaping of the roster. Quality players limited and hard to come by. Signing the wrong players will result in many years of failure.
Agree Slippery, the intriguing part is what of style of play will we have under Ryles - on thing is clear we will have a mobile forward pack, lots including myself questioned Gus recruiting so many utility or versatile players but I think it's big reason for the dogs success this year. Although recruitment is a major part of any successful team, teamwork, work ethic, unity can trump a big name signing.
"Mate it's absolutely cheating. It's giving his team and unfair advantage as to make the ball difficult to grip giving the defence a huge advantage. It slows the passing game and also there a good chance the opposition knock on "

He would be a great replacement for Lane, Carty or Matto in 2026. I don't think Knights would let him go for 2025.
Yeah that'll work too.
