K Pritchard the weak link for 2017 eels

What's the main difference between this season and last year for the eels? Answer: We no longer have the same line speed and intensity in defence. Unfortunately we need to put that down to a new starting hooker who while has heart, lacks size. KP is leading the eels missed tackle count this season with 3 per game and starting doesn't suit him. He is also leading the number of tackles for the eels which is tiring him out and he has lost his zip from dummy half as a result.IDG (and Peats when we had him) both offer us more steel in defence and a faster moving defence line. That's the main difference for us this season. Now that BA has signed Moses to fix our attack, priority #2 must be to sign a hooker to fix our defence. We need Peats back. This allows KP to bring energy from the bench and dart around the tired big men.

  • Kaysa is rubbish and I have zero idea why the club has felt so strongly about keeping him and his injured arse for so long . After all the injuries and urine swapping I really expected him to be some young prodigy that was gunna set the NRL alight and we just hadn't seen his full potential in lower grades due to his injuries . I'm now convinced he has photos of BA and Bernie giving each other a Dutch Rudder .
  • I like the look of the tigers hooker.
  • It's the last 15 mins of each half. Kaysa gets dominated. The forwards around him have to make extra tackles.
Nathan brown is not his replacement. Poor cunt has to tackle in the middle for 30 mins before replacing kaysa. He's too good at lock to be wasted there for that shit
  • I remember last year when Pritchard got stomped on and was hurting. Scott yelled at him to harden the eff up. I forgot what game it was but that moment was memorable.
  • Our attack is only a good pass away from clicking which will give a lot of confidence, our line speed is half the speed of how it started the year. Goal line defence is more of a worry then anything else, no starch, 1st contact not good enough and wrapping the ball up so the offloads stop should be priority as well
  • Our weak link is actually our soft defense. Our line speed is none exsistent as they are waiting for the tigers attack to get to them, all defenders are just grabbing no hard contact and how many offloads when we had 3 and 4 defenders in the tackle. Because of our soft defense the tigers are getting a roll on putting us on the back foot.

  • He is a fucking idiot
  • Right on, heart is not everything and try as he may it's just not happening, similar to when KK had the job, to much indecision at the play the ball is hurting us more than anything else. It all starts with a good 9
    • Our line speed has been non existent since round three. How poor is our line defence too. The kick chase has been just as bad. The chase on the kick when Tedesco returned the ball for fifty metres epitomised it. This is an attitude thing not a skill thing. There are problems somewhere because these were our strengths last year which we won games off of the back of and now they are glaring deficiencies.
