Same old, same old.When in the opposition twenty, I have never in all my years of supprting the eels, seen a team lack the vision or direction to get across the line.We look leaderless & rudderless at crucial times in games & it's safe to say Kelly is not the answer.All of BA,s set plays run from inside out but it's not gonna work against a defence that defends from inside out.We look predictable therefore make it easy to be picked off by opposition defenders.We lack a genuine contender who has the ability to play off the cuff footy & mix things up.You know your in trouble when a prop or second rower are first & second receivers because your half lacks the ability to move his troops into the positions they are required.

We played half the game with Kelly and Edwards in the halves. Put Foran & Norman out there and we will look very strong with the way our forwards ran the ball. Edwards was outstanding and looked dangerous every time. Kelly has nothing and Norman getting injured killed us off. The attitude in defence was very good in the 2nd half, years gone by we would have lost 30-4 there conceding a few soft late tries.

  Yes I agree with u on defence, they only scored from feild position that the eels gave them from errors.

Okay yes. Kelly is shit. We all know this. But seriously, what were you or anyone else expecting when we lost both of our top halves. The end result was totally unsurprising. If we had played like that with both Foran and Norman then I would be deeply worried. Forget about tonight; our season starts next week.

We were missing the spark tonight wiz and agree we are looking very one dimensional, too many forwards with no aggression who are known as guys who just make meters, Scott was good in his first hit out i thought, showed some real aggression in defence.

The all need to take a leaf out of Manu's book.

Our problem is we constantly are trying to get to the edges, which only works when we're coming out of our halve and have mannah or paulo rack up a solid run and quick play the ball. Whilst we are attacking their line we keep trying to do that, but our play the ball is jsut slowed down and the defence is able to adjust. We need more flat running edge forwards and centres changing angles, with semi / gordon their for a quick draw and pass if the defence misreads
