If true, Bernie, Mark and Brad just step up and pay him 700 i'd prefer Gutho on 700 snd losing Mennings than having mick but with Frenxh at FB.

I thought gutho wouldn't sign until BA future sorted and that is all I have heard from him. Anything else is speculation spread by media and his manager to drive up his price and try to get more offers.
You can guarantee nearly every club in market for fullback or a half rings his manager this week then over next few weeks we will read about all the offers he has received and how it done deal to leave before it revealed he has resigned for Parra for 700-800k plus bonuses and incentives for later years.
Jennings is off contract next year and we still have money to spend this year so we can afford upgrade gutho and couple others.

Simply that if they are than Gutho is easily worth 700k+
If the only thing stopping him from signing is the 250k between the 2 parties.
Then just get it done, if Gutho tests the market there will be a bidding war & all of the sudden 700k becomes 1 million

Its easy to see he's playing for a contract. He's been playing in his best form since his pre injury dsys. The only concern I have with Gutherson is IF he suffers the same injury again then its all over red rover. I think 700k is a reasonable amount but it depends on the contract details.
There are plenty of players i would accuse of playing for a contract top of the list is the bloke wearing the 7 jersey.
Gutho ain't one of them
His injury past is a concern but that is not worth the risk of him leaving
Every player in the game is playing for their next contract Monto, nothing wrong with that. They are paid to play footy after all, it is their career. You've never performed better in your chosen profession when incentivised to do so ?
