Just Found Out ....... We have a game this weekend!

In the midst of all of this insanity, and without sweeping any mess under a carpet, the blokes that we actually cheer for and pay our money to watch have an appointment with the Dragons.What a challenge it promises to be!An injury toll that is not improving. A backs to the wall effort against an admittedly under strength Storm. Speculation about key position selections. The distractions of this latest media circus. The scene is set to witness the resolve of our playing group.This will not be easy.Peats leads our defence speed. He directs from dummy half.. His loss is significant.A backline reshuffle to determine fullback may be on the cards.I also go into this weekend with the hope that I can return to attending games and training very soon. (X-rays next week!)Go you Eels. Bring on the team list. Bring on the footy.

I read somewhere Cody Nelson played at 9 for Wenty and did a pretty good job... maybe a smokey for selection.

Mitch Rein might be suspended. His form lately has been very good. Young Garvey and Le'strange will take over the hooking role if he is rubbed out.

Sixties, I hope the X-rays are good and that it won't be long before you're reporting on the training sessions again. I miss those.....

  Cheers mate. It's now the tenth week of being off my feet, so I've had to be patient at being a patient. It was a triple break, like Ben Ross has a triple break in his arm, mine is in my leg. The metalwork in my leg looks very similar to his X-rays actually. I'm hanging out to be back at the action mate. Thanks again.

We're fucked without a specialist hooker. Very few men are capable of playing dummy half AND defending in the middle third. We'll have to make do with one (Kelly) or the other (Nelson).

I was so distracted yesterday that I didn't try to find out about Pritchard or who will play at 9. I'm now going to sit back and wait for the team list. I did find the selection of Nelson at 9 interesting last week. He had a solid game and looked comfortable. Defensively I think he'd get the job done.

We are very capable of beating the dragons. The dragons are an excellent defensive team but we just may have the type of footballers in Norman, Sandow and Radradra who can unlock their defence a bit.

In attack they aren't as dangerous as some of the sides we struggled to contain this year.
