JUST A REMINDER GUYS!!!!!!

Don't miss Parramatta Eels Fan Day!
Wednesday, 17 February 2010

Celebrity guest Danny Green, a special performance by an Australian Idol and the entire Pirtek Parramatta Eels squad will make Sunday, February 28 a day not to miss when the Eels host their annual Fan Day.

This year, Fan Day will be in the heart of Parramatta – outside the Parramatta Town Hall in Church Street Mall, kicking off at 1.00pm and running until 3.00pm.

For the kids there will be face painting, rides, clowns and a sausage sizzle, while the bigger kids will be entertained with a performance by last year’s Australia Idol contestant Nathan Brake, and an appearance by celebrity Eels’ fans including boxers Danny Green and Vic Darchinyan, and world champion athlete Dani Samuels.

The entire NRL squad will take part in a huge signing session, and there will be an opportunity to purchase merchandise on the day.

Fan Day should not be missed by any Parramatta fan, so join the Eels on February 28, from 1.00pm outside Parramatta Town Hall and help send the Eels into battle in 2010.

  • I wish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I was going to again go this year to the fan day as myself & the kids had a great time last year at Parramatta Stadium. But as it is at Parramatta Town hall we are going to get a heap of non Parramatta followers just hanging around, lining up for things just because they are there. If you all remember last year it was bloody tough to get an autograph. That is fine I don't mind waiting when I am waiting with true Parramatta supporters, but it will be chaos down there in Church street & I don't fancy waiting an hour or so (& it will be an hour or so - Again remember last year) with a bunch of non tried true & trusted Parramatta supporters.

In saying that good luck to everyone who is prepared to line up. They are as much entitled to as anyone else. I clearly understand that marketing strategy & the need in getting in & about with the broader public. It is the only way to go. So overall I applaud Parramatta. I hope they sign up 1,000 ticket members on the day.

I also hope as a season ticket holder, I get the chance with my kids with a smaller crowd to meet the players at a later stage.

    Parra 4 ever
