Junior regos down

As mentioned before the junior league has implemented a new rule of transfers within the clubs of the District Junior League. As expected by everyone except the current hopeless GM, regos have fallen as kids who want to mov clubs are restricted as never before, and consequently they are preferring to not bother rather than play for a club that they want to leaveThe person who was placed in control by the discredited football CEO, continues down his path of poor decisions , fortunately I am not involved in any capacity these days, but my contacts continue to despair at his actions

    • What was their take on it? Did they agree?
  • Yes one of my closest friends are having a problem with swapping from clubs and he is devestated as he just wants to play with his mates and should not be penalised from doing well with his former junior club in the parramatta district . Thankfully they are receiving guidance from a very knowledgable person on here .... and are very thankful.
    • A lot of those swingers clubs have very strict rules these days Carlo.

    • Do we have a mutual friend per chance?

  • Parents cant affort it either, as to watch there kid play 20 mins of football and travel 40 km and miss out on 400 dollers for the saturday work, thats why regos are down.
  • At ten you should be able to swing if ya wanna lol
  • Sad to hear, and this seems to have been going on for a long time by your reports and others.

  • I've had to sit out all trials so far due to not being cleared by my old club which has shut down, it's only just getting moving after weeks of being stuffed around
  • All too little too late Derek.

Clubs like Wentworthville who have pillaged all the smaller clubs of their best players for years to win comps have caused this scenario.
"Come to our club, we'll cover your rego and supply your gear. Don't worry about little Johnny who has been our halfback for the last 3 years, we'll forget about his development and put him in our 2nd or 3rd team because he is yesterdays news."

The rule is meant to protect the smaller clubs, however the results won't be evident for at least another 4-5 years.
The current rulings should be merit based and managed by an independent qualifications committee. Bias should be shown to the smaller clubs to even out the competition.

Additional issues with league participation is the shambolic organisation of the competition & the culture that surrounds league (drinking and gambling).
How the feck they came up with the current Modified games format just amazes me.
    40 x 20 metre fields for the 6's & 7's and the 9's are also on a smaller field.

The person you are referring to is an arrogant dope, so too are most of his colleagues.
Volunteers are now forced to jump through hoops to participate. Compulsory coaching and facilitator courses (of which there are insufficient to cater to the volume), Ground Manager Courses, WWC compulsory checks even though your kids may play in the team you are volunteering for. The attitude from the Parramatta administration is like we are being paid for this work. They seem to forget they are the ones being paid and the rest of us are volunteering our time as well as paying rego fees in return for rubbish.

The politics and bullshite involved in the Junior League has left many people frustrated to the point they are even tuning out to the NRL competition..
Perhaps the clown should stick to fire walking and stay the feck away from Junior League.
