Junior Paulo still likely to head to the Raiders

Quote from Peter mulholland the Canberra Raiders recruitment manager.Junior Paulo. I don't think next year is a possibility at this stage, we're certainly interested in him, we have a big list of players we are interested in for 2017. If anything does fall out because of other club's salary cap constraints, we do have money up our sleeve. The Raiders cap has been very well managed. Souths have issues with the return of Sam Burgess, Manly need to shed players given what they have done and Parramatta as well; all have some issues with the cap.Going off that it sounds like Paulo will be in green for 2017 onwards and if we can't resolve our salary cap issues he could be gone before the start of 2016...

  • I don't see it that way Sally, but I can see your point. If parra want to retain him for the right $$ they will. They won't keep him on ridiculous $$$. He's a prop and needs to play big mins in order for the big $$$$ in my view.
  • Back again Sally? The Raiders need to look after their own backyard before they worry about others.
    • Haha the raiders have just signed up all of their stars till the end of 2018 buddy. No one wants to leave the raiders they know they are building something extremely special...
    • Sixties will have a vendetta against you Sally
    • HAHAHAHHAHAHA oh frankie, frankie, frankie you pathetic cunt.... Look at their roster you 1 blue and gold eyed loser. They have quality right across the park. 10 times more stars than the parramatta pretenders...
    • Seriously you think Raiders could get Junior after they just kept all their good players who were off contract? Also how would Mullholand know how our cap is? The members were told the other day our cap is in good shape to sign and re-sign players
  • I thought the author was Sandra Sully, sixties?
    • Not quite Mitchy. Just our occasional Visiting Stuart Loving Stirrer.
  • Let's see how it plays out old girl. You certainly know how to post a blog and get a reaction.
  • Well, Sally, unfortunate for you.
The Eels are already invested in signing up Paulo long-term with a rather strong likelihood of a long-term deal to stay at the Eels announced before the 2016 season starts.

"The more likely outcome is they will not fuck with us anytime soon. We showed we're not going to be pushed around and we have enough dirt on them to bring the comp to its knees. "
