There is a "respectful" debate in the air with Junior paulo and his contribution to the game. B1 believes paulo is playing well and is working hard on his position. Whilst B2 believes he need to lift more on his game. For those who like to place an opinion for transperancy, please do ....

He has been very hot and cold, gets dominated a far bit and looks like a marshmallow trying to run most of the time. Then against South's and a few other games this season he has ran hard and did some good work.
Thanks Cranky Brad... but woul you agree he has played better with the raiders? If we signed him in for more money, the least he can do is to demonstrate more hot than cold... the eels fan would like more heat .... do you not??? we adont want to raost marshmallows.... '
I'm actually very disappointed with him, I thought he would of come home and leaded from the front. He played well his first season in Canberra but than wasn't any good. I personally believe the game is to fast these days for blokes like Paulo and Boyd who are found out very easily.
Its a bit of both i reckon Angelyn.
I think hes overweight even though he lost some in the off season, he looks sluggish and not as mobile and dynamic as he once was.
Id like to see him drop about 6kg and see him work on his fitness, also look to get more involved around the oppositions line.
Brads failed to utalise our bigger forwards as well as he should in attack since he took over unfortunately.
Hes definitely not at the top of his game, Brads shown that he's had trouble getting out bigger forwards with weight issues up to scratch, juniors not up to scratch imo.
Juniors definitely got room to better his game.
Agree with all this Snake. I also think we don't yet have a real forward leader to set the standard on the field and on the training paddock. We need one urgently, someone like JWH if not JWH. If at all possible, we really need to find one before June 30th.
I think he’s going ok but not at his absolute best. I think we will see the best of him if we can get Nathan Brown back who will set a better tempo generally in the middle. He needs some support in there at the moment he’s a bit one out.
I like him and i think we need him but it did stand out that Ricky stuart didnt really care to see the back of him. I think it is largely due to what we are seeing now his good games are very good, but he for long time hasnt been consistant and not really going on with his potential. He has the potential to play origin but watching him he is a long way off at the moment(even with being pretty good against souths). As well as that at the Raiders and here he has been paid the Money of somone you expect to at worstbe a 7 out of 10.
I agree with Brissy
Needs to just concentrate on running hard. He has a great offload but it should be used only occasionally
He was best as a bench/impact prop when he was last with us and maybe he still is although he is on starting prop money.
Also agree that he is playing too many minutes. We have a bench of forwards and need quality not quantity
He has showed effort in defence appearing from nowhere to smash opposition players - in the earlier games anyway
My biggest issue with Junior is when we need him to kick off the back fence, that's when he's not there. If he is to be our forward leader he needs to recognise when we need him most.
To me he's the kind of guy whose raw stats don't mean a lot, for him it's definitely a matter of quality not quantity.
When Junior plays hard and straight he’s a beast, When he tries to play like the second half back he’s useless!
