  You’re definitely not the brightest person in the room. Please dude, 60’s and 70’s is not the only era of music, 80’s, 90’s and even music today. Stop being an old fart and start appreciating all forms of music.

    Believe me I do like and listen to a large range. I wouldn't even call myself that old, I was born in the mid 70's so I grow up with 80's & 90's music mainly, but since I hit 40 years young, my appreciation of music changed. Back in the 70's for example singers / groups needed to sound good to make it, whereas today, if you look good you're a chance of making it. In the 70's most music/ songs told a story, today if words rhyme they go in the song.

    I like music from all eras. If you don't think musicians today play 'proper music' Listen to Nihls Frahm. He had a piano made especially for him.

  I was born in the very late 60s and like most country song
  and i like a good rock n roll songs to
  some songs 70s
  some 80s
  some 90s
  now in 2000s not many at all

  Until the mid 90s you had to go and actually play your musical instruments in a band at pubs to be known. These days that doesn't really exist. There's nothing better than Aussie pub rock.

  I don't mind a variety of music but 1 thing is for sure. Future generations are not going know and sing along to older music like people do now.
  Not only is today's music shit compared to older stuff, but with so much new music available through streaming services the next generation will only listen to music directly targeted to them through there social media feeds and older tunes are lilely fade away. They will still be around but not as we know them. Only the main guitar riff and chorus will remain with remixed versions. Bit of doof doof music in background with a rapper replacing verses and film clip with half naked women dancing at club or by the pool. (The music will be shit but maybe the film clips are OK)

    I reckon this is close to the most haunting piece of music I've ever heard. I love it - and the clip's amazing.
