As expected, Darcy Lussick will be sitting on the sidelines for an extended period following his high shot on Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. Lussick has been charged with a grade four reckless high-tackle.
If he challenges the charge and loses he will face six weeks on the bench. If he was to take the early guilty plea which is expected, he will sit out four weeks meaning he will miss the second Roosters match of the season.
Tim Mannah has surprisingly been issued a grade one charge for dangerous contact (uneccessary pressure on the head/neck) following his tackle on Michael Jennings. Mannah is facing a week on the sideline should he challenge and lose. An early guilty plea will see him line-up for the match against Manly.
The good news though is Nathan Peats will return to first grade following his one match suspension. He has spoken of repaying his teammates and has said he is ready to go for this week's match against arch-enemy, Manly.

Hi Jimmy, it looked pretty bad on the replay & it received a lot of adverse coverage so u r probably correct, take the early plead & cop 4 wks rather than risk a probable 6.
what about Watmough is he face a week or not he got put on report for a swing arm and it did not miss and he a bad record to
What about ???????? (big ugly forward from the Drongos) he got reported twice on Friday night.
Darcy had form so 4 weeks was not unexpected - but I haven't seen an old school 'Coat Hanger' like that for years. Hehe.
I wasn't doing an update across the NRL. I was giving an update on our players. I haven't seen anything from Manly in regards to Watmough as yet. All challenges from players have to be made by 12pm tomorrow.
