  Thurston was nothing but honest in his assessment of Hindmarsh and the hapless eels.......All and sundry have been rubbishing the eels for many a year, even the Eels greatest player in Sterling thinks the eels are a gutless rabble....and they are, they really are and so much worse.

  One of the biggest junior nurseries in the league yet they find themselves without a finals appearance for 6 straight years, a fekkin rabble of a club.

    Thanks TD for rubbing salt in to the wounds. Yes, we are a rabble at the moment but what can you expect when half your roster are either playing busted or gone for the season. My best mate is a 'Doggies' supporter and he feels our pain. Focus on your club and let all us Parra fans mourn in peace.

  Monto please never comment about league again, u fekkin clueless twit, if Thurston is overrated and nothing special then u havent watched a league game before. The bloke is a future immortal and the best half of his generation by a country mile.

  He's the last one should taking about winning a chip. He got one with the Bulldogs when he was 5 n played a whole 2minutes. Hindmarsh won 2009 n played the whole game.

    True that. If you look at it purely based on performance JT won a GF and only saw 5 mins of that game and wasn't a big part of that bulldogs team that year so he won it by default. Ever since he's been in charge of the cowboys, 10 year now, he hasn't won a title. Ye he's a good player but not good enough to lead his team to a GF win. They are the facts.

  I know about the ongoing joke between Hindy and JT (it was funny when JT asked him about his premiership ring). That's friendly banter between them ...
  BUT when you make a joke at the expense of a struggling team/club that is different. It's a cheap shot and a dog act. You don't kick a team when it's down. The boys tried but were not good enough, we just don't have the players to compete.
