beg to differ bem - i have seen it stated at 400k for 2023 and either 400k or 200k depending on which option was taken - club option was 400k, player option 200k.
but no-one other than the player, agent and club really know.
The former Three Lions captain had a year left on his deal after picking up his player option for 2024 earlier this season.
His salary for the 2024 season is worth $350,000 with the contract being reportedly higher if Hodgson made the Eels take up the option rather than himself.
This noble decision would allow the club to have further cap space to sign other players, but the injury may now allow the club to remove the entirety of Hodgson’s contract from the salary cap.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Hodgson and the Eels held talks with the NRL about a medical retirement exemption for the club.
With the injury being recognised as career-ending, the NRL will likely remove the $350,000 off Parramatta’s salary cap allowing them further freedom in the market.
The whole point of this discussion was that no one really knows other than the incumbents, realistically it was always a punt for Parra to bring him back and you BEM hated every time it was brought up as enterprising, hindsight says you were right in his failure, but no one knows if things went differently you could be eating shit sandwiches now. Troll has many implications on social media, if you think I am trolling you for any purpose other than challenging your arrogance, your wrong. I actually enjoy your commentary.
I speak my mind the same way you do, just accept that we are both arrogant pricks and there is no harm done.
How can you say that? i know their is hatred for BA on here but that is ludicrous, do you know what a player goes through to recover from an ACL, that was his third the odds were against him and it was not the ACL that did him in.
"Didn't Ryles have an additional clause in his contract relating to Bellamy? That is, if Bellamy signed on for another season, Ryles weas free to just walk?"
"When that's what's coming out of their pieholes you know they are flapping.
It's not even another fruit, it's like comparing Apples & Dildos
( I see that you have overcome your crippling Porn addiction Kurupt...good on you)"
"True, Ryles would have a get out clause and he would have been the one who applied for the Eels job, Parra didn't need to do sh!t with the Storm. He's trying to compare apples with oranges."

Great signing.
Don't worry Bem, you will get over it.....only on 300
It was $450k.
and you know this how? Bem.....do you know what his KPI's and incentive rewards were? off course not!.....why are you such a "diehard".
Go do some research.
Just about every sports publication has stated his contract as 450k for this season and 350k for next season.
Maybe if you want to argue with people about things you should know something about the topic at hand instead of arguing for the sake of it.
Kind of makes you look like a clueless troll.

Beg to differ all you like.
Every time I have seen it on multiple sports sites it was 450k first year and 350k the next year. Not once did I see it laid out like you stated.
Like you said, only the player, agent and club know.
Anyway you look at it, his contract was massive overs.
What is Josh Hodgson’s contract?

Well well well looks to me like Josh and old mate Ricky pulled the wool over ba's eyes
