What credentials? He hasn't accomplished anything of note same as Ryles. McDermott should be the coach the Eels should be pursuing not some rookie with zero experience. After 36 yrs without a premiership you'd thing they would stop mucking around

Yes, exactly. Hannay is very "well creditialled." Plus, he's coached NRL (30 games at 37%). Better than Barrett's 32%. Nothing to worry about. We're coming last and need a rebuild. Piece of cake. Even Chucky could do it in his sleep.

LOL. Well, Chuk, you did better than Trent Robinson or Kevin Walters who didn't win an ESL title. But they were closer to rookies back then. And I saw a few on e-bay the other day.
Not saying Hannay is clear choice, just saying Hannay at least has that on his resume.
Judging on interim coaching records is crazy. At least give the bloke an offseason and some roster construtction to judge on. Not much these blokes can do in an interim role other than get the players performing to their potential.
Facts don't care about bat crazy feelings. He coached 30 NRL games or whatever as an interim coach at circa 37%. That's not a judgement that's a fact. Even Wade Graham talks about it.
No ones saying it's not a fact . What interim coach has taken over well performing team ? They come in when shit hits the fan. You gotta look a bit deeper than you are- see what he did with those sides once he took over . Hes gone on to do a bit since then , so who knows.
