Watched him play for Wenty last week and I can say I was surprised on how good he is going. He is a pretty big boy with some nice skills. I think that if he was given an opportunity to have a bench spot he wouldn't let the team down at all

He played lock last year but all of this year he's played on the right edge. Given that we've give Pauli and Kelepi a run in first grade before we've gone with Joseph I imagine he won't be signed by the Eels next year.
To be honest the guy that impressed me most, aside from Lee Mossop, was Lorenzo Ma'afu. He looks to have trimmed up a bit from last year and looks a bit more fast and mobile. Hes playing the same way for wenty that manu mau does for 1st grade, especially the way he targets the opposition halves. One of his runs he isolated a defender, bumped him off and offloaded for vai toutai to break the line and then offload to his winger to score.
The back that impressed me was Justin Hunt. He was all class against the cutters. he was constantly using his speed and footwork to break the line and beat defenders and his support play was outstanding.
