Johnson to Play against the Eels

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Warriors: After being in doubt this week as he awaits the birth of his second child in Auckland, Shaun Johnson looks set to take on the Eels this Saturday night after his wife Kayla confirmed on social media on Thursday that he will be away from home this weekend. • Yeah apparently his in for them. Reports nanani might be out for Queensland too with a hipflexer so hopgood could be out too

    • Typical isn't it that other clubs expel their origin players either through some lessened injury or other means so their sides aren't too depleted through rep responsibilities or get a bye during origin but the Eels get stuff all.

    • The reports yesterday was that he didn't finish training but that he was still fine to play, was just a point injury (short term painful, quick recovery).

Really hoping we can get Hopgood back.

  • Bugger if that is also the case

We could really do with Hopgood

    • If Johnson plays and Hopgood is out then it just got much harder for an Eels win. Talk about rigged or what🤔

      • PT do you realise Broncos, Storm, Panthers  and others have multiple  players out each year for 3 games and survive.   Would you like a bye now or end of season?

        • Exactly

          • Drooper, do you know the meaning of bad sportsmanship, I am going to say no, because nobody can be that stupid about your "rigged or what" whose attention are you trying to get by talking such rubbish?

            • Your attention Flopper 😂🤣

        • Yeah but the Broncos, Storm and Panthers tend to get extra special treatment from the refs, bunker and NRL which the Eels unfortunately don't appear to. A bye now and the end of the season would be great 😃

"I think it is an overpay but not egregious by any means. I would say $50-100k over but i think it is reasonable too. Just to get players that are in form that is ok.
Penrith only offered reported $350k."
