Now personally I hate the man Thurston, but the player Thurston is the best halfback in the game and I think Parramatta really needs him. The more I watch the Eels play and the more I watch the Cowboys play I see what Thurston can bring to our team on the field and that is "Direction".
The way he guides his second rate Cowboys around the field is exactly what we need. Thurston controlling our backline along with Hayne stepping in when he wants would be pretty much unstoppable.
If we have to bite the bullet and lose a few of our long serving players to get Thurston, Then I say we should do it.
I'm aware Thurston hasn't won the Cowboys a Premiership, But Thurston doesn't have the attacking weapons at Cowboys that he would have at Parra at his disposal.
End of the day Hayne + Thurston = Premiership
