There is growing speculation that either John Sutton or Roy Asotasi will be realeased from Souths Sydney if the Greg Inglis deal is given the all clear by Nrl salary cap auditor Ian Schubert. There is still a big question mark on whether the deal with Souths / Inglis will be cleared by the Nrl but is the deal is cleared there is speculation that Souths will realease Sutton or Asotasi.
If Roy Asotasi were to be released by Souths the North Queensland Cowboys would be keen on Asotasi services for 2011.
The other player in question is John Sutton it remains to be seen the stance by Souths regarding this situation. It is already well known that Souths have made it public that they would not want to release Roy Asotsi and i imagine that the would not want to release John Sutton either but is higly likely Souths will have to release one if the Inglis deal is given the all clear by the Nrl.
Now i dont really care what happens with this scenario i just thought i would let you guys know that Souths may off load one of these players.
My opinon is that Souths if they were to release one of these players i think that souths will realease Sutton he is probably the most easiest player to replace out of the two. But who knows what will happen.
Here was the list of players on the choping block: John Sutton, Nathan Merrit, Issac Luke, Roy Asotasi or Chris Sandow but now it is just out Sutton or Asotasi. I HAVE A FUNNY FEELING THAT THE INGLIS DEAL WILL BE BLOCKED I HOPE HE DOESNT COME HERE.

The contract whether approved by Shubert or not , will mean sweet fuck all if Ingli$ isnt released from Melbourne!
The word im hearing is that Melbourne arent prepared to let him go after being shafted with the Brisbane deal, If Ingli$ had gone to Brisbane , Melbourne still stood to make money from the deal. As it stand with the proposition of third party payments with the Souths deal, Melbourne will end up with Squat, in the way of monetary value, as well as losing one of their Fab Four!
