I think he'd struggle with the defensive workload in the forwards and we still have Pauli and Tepai to come back in, both would be better than Folau in that position.
If Folau is going to be a forward, he is going to have to run harder. Reminds me a bit of Tony Williams when in open field. Close to the line, he is strong but a bit tentative away from this.
No he's a back. You are either back or a forward in mentality and it actually has little to do with size. Backs are opportunists who are always looking for that big play, forwards have an interest in running into other human beings at pace.
