    • Ok corrected.
So nobody here knows much about him then?
Pretty big decision for the club to get right.
  • I'd be disappointed if he's the next CEO. It would be the easy option by our club. We took the easy option by appointing Seward. I would have thought that searching for our next CEO would be one of the club's highest priorities, but the board seems content with just letting him take charge in the interim, which really disappoints me. We need an experienced operator who knows how to handle this difficult period. I would be alarmed if we haven't even started searching for a new CEO.

  • never heard of him

  • I'll declare knowing John before commenting. Not well, but through work and friends. I like him as a bloke but I can't comment on him in his current position. People on the Members Council will have had some dealings with John so they might have a work related comment to add.
What I will say is that I'd prefer the club to make a decision on the CEO sooner rather than later. In the past Matt Phelan stepped up internally on an interim basis before Seward was appointed. After Seward was appointed Phelan was made redundant. I had some communication with Matt and found him to be a genuine bloke with a passion for Parra. I'm not so sure now about Seward! Just before Phelan left, he advised me that there wouldn't be a position for him but as a fan he'd still be in the stands cheering for the Eels. I know that being a Parra bloke doesn't make you the right person for the job, but it was disappointing that after stepping up he found himself redundant.
I'd hope that should the Eels make an external appointment that John wouldn't find himself in the same position as Matt.
  • He was always going to be the CEO. Boulous and Tom issa are best mates and have close family ties
  • Well he is much more qualified than Seward...I don't know why we don't approach Steve noyce..
  • Had a pretty good offload but was mostly just a slug. Ended up at the Dogs I think.

Anyway he did a cert 2 in business administration at TAFE. He'll make a fine CEO.
  • Justin Tsoulos? WhoTF are you talking about grunta?

    • Yep I heard tsoulos too wasn't that on a parra email or media statement ???? Last week mb

Can't find a LinkedIn on him.

I don't think this is the bloke Grunta means?.... surely a piss take or error in name.

He is only 31 years old. I think we need more work experience than that.
