  •  Has arrived with little fanfare ,I'll admit I havnt seen nor heard much about him but seems handy, especially close to the line.Good back up or even a handy 14 perhaps.

  • It's actually something that Mahoney has had success with at times, and I find myself saying 'have a dig Reed" sometimes when we are on their line and Can't crack the defense, but he doesn't do it enough, and yes I know it's not as easy as this video would suggest but it still works at NRL level and even SOO as we saw with the Harry Grant match winner last game.

  • It is the first two steps in the ruck that dictates the play .  Said  it plenty of times. - smith ran metres in  GF and was totally dominant .   Reed. Just needs to scoot on momentum and fast play the ball . That or perfect the two step shuttles abd the path to immortal status's.

  •  Watching the way he burrows under tackles I am going to call him Wombat.

Knows where the line is from these highlights.

Bit of size to him with good leg drive.

    Give him a shot @ 14.

      • He was eating up short metres, rooting the defence, then got up and walked away.

        Wombat will do.

HAAAAAAA!!!!! so you are the guy that gives us all a bad name and immediately falls asleep.

  • He's actually wearing 14 in a lot of the clips,so either he is a specialist 14 and those are good tries against tired defense ,or he's not even good enough to crack the 9 spot in an inferior competition. You choose depending on your outlook(Or the truth-or both)I'm a unicorn so he looks like a gun to me.

    • 14 is utility, generally speaking.

Some players are good enough for run on in certain positions but far better off the bench.

Until we see him play NRL it would be hard to decide me thinks.

The major difference between run on side or bench player is normally the player's ego imo.

    • Its super league they use numbers differently a player gets an allocated number regardless of what postions they play during the year they keep the same number.

  • Take that video with a grain of salt its a weaker comp that been said i saw abit of him as junior and he had a lot to like back then.

Even though super league is a weaker comp at its best its better than nsw cup so a young bloke playing week in week out in super league may have a better preparation for 1st grade

      • True as I said its still a step up from nsw cup so in terms of a football apprenticeship it's a good one im keen to see how he goes
